help 2005 escape code o354!!!!!help
ok well i have been a mechanic for 30 years, and im stumped and stupid please advise me,,, ok 2005 escape comes in about two months ago cats were plugged, removed / replaced them, checked pcm cleared codes was running fine no history codes, about 1 month ago customer calls escape missing, have it towed in, check and the pcm code, o354 d coil check swap coils, still nothing, no circut to power coil, test wiring back to pcm and its fine,, call customer, tell them they have to spend big $$ , replace all coils. plugs and pcm and have ford reprogram it, runs great all is well, bamm sunday customer calls $%$%$^%@!#$@$$ 2005 escape missing AGAIN~~ check same damm code and no power to d coil 0354 ,, what the hell???? ok anyone want to tell me what the hell obtw vehicle has 100,000 miles on it ,

There was a TSB for either 2005 or 2006 where the OEM spark plugs would burn out coil packs and at times damage coils drivers in the PCM.
Google "ford tsb 10-18-10" and should find a copy which is a superseded version of the original.
