Those tires are OLD. Check the dates and check for dry rot. They haven't even made those tires in several years.
The tread on those gets hard as a rock when they get old. That means terrible traction but it also means they last a LONG time.

Thanks for the heads up. Ill look for signs of dry rot when I go to check them out.

Also these are 16.5" rims... so they may be 8x6.5 bolt pattern as was used on pre '99 Fords. Take a measuring tool with ya!

16.5 inch wheels really limit your tire options. Hardly anyone makes tires to fit them anymore. I say tis no bueno.

x2, the initial cost may be lower but in the long run a 16" or 17" wheel and tire combo will be far easier on the wallet across the board.
Those tread lugs are also completely devoid of any siping whatsoever which means pretty terrible wet traction - especially on decent speed curves with the weight up front on your rig, even with the V10. I would steer clear and find a newer set of tires for sure. Be sure to check dates on whatever you're looking at, even good tread on a 6-7 yr old tire give you a year left of safe usable service life.
