How do you remove the fan clutch on a 94 f 350 7.3 turbo diesel???

It unscrew from the water pump. It takes a really big wrench and you will probably need to smack the wrench with a hammer. I have used an air chisel directly on the hex to break it loose.

It is also a left hand thread. So it is left to tighten and right to loosen.

When re installing use a couple drops of blue locktight and smack wrench with hammer good. Torque spec is like 140 ft/lbs
