Remote Start Unit

I put a remote start unit on my 2006 F-150 back in '07 and now it is going bonkers. The horn blows what seems like Morse code and doesn't recognize the key. Code systems claims it's a bad module, so I found one on E-bay new in the box, bought it and plugged it in............ same result, horn goes of as soon as I give the unit power. Tried to unplug the Securilock interface module and it does the same thing. Anybody have an idea what could be wrong?

Did you use scotchlok connectors for any of your hook ups? You may have an intermittent connection somewhere.

I just replaced the Securilock interface module and have the same result. No I didn't scotch lock the harness when I installed it. It has been working fine for the last 7 years and now nothing I do will fix it. Please help!!!

Remote start unit

I am happy to report that I have fixed the problem. It turns out the batteries in the remote was the issue. Fell free in make fun of me for not checking that in the beginning.
