President Clinton said it was inconceivable that there wasn't unaccounted for Iraqi WMD, in effect supporting President Bush.

Comments anyone?

I seem to remember that Clinton said that Saddam had WMD, and using that statement for justification of sending cruise missles into Iraq during the Monica fiasco.....

If Bush sprayed that useless sandpit (Iraq) with nerve gas and wiped them all out, I wouldn't complain. Our military needed the practice anyway. God bless those that gave their lives for a just cause.

Does that include all of the hundreds of thousands of women and children there, and the supporters of the US, and the enemies of the old regime?

Fortunately, the military, the government and the majority of this society do not hold your belief.

I for one hold his belief. I know many people that do. Infact, I know more people that would side with him than I do that wouldn't. Also, do you realize that women and children are not as innocent as you make them out to be. Do you remember when a child was rigged with a bomb and was exploded when a soldier picked the kid up? The enemy is not above having women and children fight for them.

It wasn't the kids fault, adults rigged him/her with explosives.

I did hear President Clinton make that remark on Larry King Live yesterday for Senator Dole's 80th birthday. He kind of took the wind out of the sails of the Dems screaming about it in Congress.

Yet another grace laid upon the world by 1997RangerXLT. I cherish your little political war threads. I am sure they are just to see how riled up you can get everyone.

Hey Waxy its nice to know some one else is prepared.

Thanks for making it a personal attack, I thought some of the people here would like to comment about his statement since we were headed for a 40 million dollar Democratic investigation into what they wanted to call WMDsgate.

Did you read some of the comments about Bush not finding them yet and he must have lied? Huge coverup? Have you been playing along at home or not?

You didn't think is was worth mentioning or just wanted to jab another member?

And we wonder why Islamic extremists took down the World Trade Towers. Sorry folks, but attitudes like this hurt us more than help us. You can thump your chest and stamp your feet all you want- it might make you feel better personally, but in the long run it's all gonna work against us.

Maybe the unprovoked (*) killing of thousands of Americans over the past 18 years (*) from a group of people that teach killing Americans will get you into heaven had something to do with his attitude.

If you have the ability to tell the difference between a Muslin and a terrorists, please enlighten the rest of us. His frustration with this inability is shared with many Americans.

Have you ever heard, Violence begets violence? Those that live by the sword...?

I know many muslims that do not want to kill Americans. The only ones that do have been brainwashed by someone like hussein or bin Laden. The only ones that want to kill muslims are the ones that have been brain washed by Bush and Blair. Ok, brainwashed is a little harsh, but you know what i mean. Go here...
http://udel.edu/~os/errorism.html
They fairly well explain how I feel about the whole mess, not to say that I agree with all of it. From what I hear here on FTE, Canada isn't all that great, but I've never been and would love to visit, maybe stay with Dennis for a week.
And as for Clinton supporting Bush, he was just stating the obvious. Did/does Iraq have these "weapons of mass deception"... i mean destruction?? I'm sure they do. Do i feel threatened by them? Not at all. maybe a little now that we have invaded them.
Lets see if we can find the root problem. Why do some Islam extremists hate america? Some say because of all of our freedoms. Some say because we have democracy. I say because we won't mind our own business. Were these muslims groups out to get us back before WWII when we had a policy of isolationisim? I was not alive then, but I have never heard of such. What freeedoms or changes to democracy have changed since then other than the civil rights movements of the 60's and 70's that would make them hate us?
And I mean no disrespect to vets or active service men/women, they are brave people that do a job that I am not sure I could.
Feel free to curse and ridicule me. I know it's coming. But hey, we can all agree that we love our ford trucks.
