I ended up going to work this morning for 4 and a half hours then leaving just so I could make it home, roads absolutely sucked going from Shenandoah all the way down to rileyville. That and people are just flat out dumb when it comes to driving in snow where I live. But I made it in one piece and so did the truck so I did alright. Good to hear your making double time, gotta rake in that cash while you still can before it gets warm and all you wanna do is work on the truck or go out and have a blast with friends or family.
I am sitting at work right now. The university I work decided to close for the day around 4 this morning. I have a feeling they will be closed tomorrow. Good to hear you made it home fine. I will have to worry about icing tonight on the way home. And double time is noce. So far including today I will have 2 days of double on the next paycheck.
That's very good to hear. Wish you lots of luck with the ice, I know it was a horrid problem with ice right around when I left due to the sleet so I ended up waiting for the snow to hit the ground good for a little extra traction and to keep me on the road, it seemed to work perfect for me at least. I would not be surprised if they did close tomorrow as well, it would be in their best interest.
