cabin air flow switch not working

cabin air flow switch not working
hey,
So my air flow is acting weird. A/C and Heat both work correctly, all vents work as should, my issue is that 1-3 air flow settings do not work, 4 (high) works as it should though. If I'm idle 1-3 doesn't work, if I leave it one 1,2 or 3 then it will blow only if I'm cruising down the road, but it wont change with the change of the air flow switch. 4 (high) work in idle or while moving. I'm not sure if it's the blower or the switch, I am going to try cleaning the switch, but it's rainy and chili out today. so It will have to wait.
any help is appreciated, also proper terminalogy for the switch would be great so I can look he part up. thanks
