How do I adjust the clutch on my 1967 3 speed F100 and what is affected as I move the adjustment?
Welcome to FTE!
You'll get some great info here, (especially from the 67-72 guys ).
What kind of adjustment are you referring to? The only "clutch" adjustment I have ever done on my 67' was changing the spring which can be seen above the clutch pedal itself. (Actually ended up making a pretty big difference putting in a heavy duty clutch spring.) The clutch linkage is actually a bit more confusing that you would think. (You may know if you have already looked at it.) It took me by surprise when I had to disconnect / reconnect when pulling the old engine.
In regards to how much clutch pedal play, you may want to take a look at this thread.
Clutch adjustment rod is two pieces (7521). Threaded rod attaches to equalizer bar (7528), pointed end slips over threads of rod, then fits to clutch fork (7515).
How do I adjust the clutch on my 1967 3 speed F100 and what is affected as I move the adjustment?
Adjusting the 7521 rod assembly in Bill's pic above longer will raise the friction point of the clutch at the pedal. AKA the clutch will disengage with the pedal farther from the floor. Like if you're grinding gears even though the pedal is down to the floor this will help.
