*HPOP update

So after removing the fuel bowl (and rebuild), I decided to take out the HPOP. I am glad I did it. It was leaking at three places, including the dreaded serviceable plug. I took my time and replaced all the o-rings, gasket, serviceable plug, cleaned the IPR and reinstalled everything by the book. After all was said and done, it fired up after about 5 seconds of cranking. I let it idle for a few minutes and then drove it a few miles. Initially I had the check engine light come on, however it went off after a few minutes. Thank you to the people on here who gave me advice. I want to give a special shout out to Bob Bergman at Diesel Orings for the repair kits and the over the phone help. If it wasnt for you, I would have had to taken it somewhere to get it fixed using money I do not have. I figure I saved somewhere around $3,000 (or more). Not having a service manual is tough. I have driven it about 20 miles and so far no leaks or troubles.
