OK. So New England has not been my trucks friend this winter. Plow went on the end of January and just came off last night for the 2nd time (First time was to replace my alternator) Hoping I get a few weeks to drive around in a plowless truck. It feels like a sports car.
So. here is my question. The truck is an 04 350 DRW. (Same as sig) the inner fenders on the DRW have worked themselves loose and I have lost the plastic push clips that hold them in.
Does anyone have a better solution to holding these in there? I could use a nit and bolt, but figure if that was a good plan, Ford would have done it to begin with. If not, What is the actual name of those so that I can order them. Having a hard time finding the parts.
If you do use the nut n bolt set up use stainless steel. Not sure what the fasteners are. Could be christmas trees or push rivets or? The Googler is your friend here.
Google push in plastic rivets. Look at images of what you have and click on the image to follow to web site. Ford dealer will have them. Dorman, NAPA etc...But the Fords will be OEM
