Upper rear fender bolt???
I have torched/cut/broken and cussed at a lot of bolts before but few have had access as bad as this front fender bolt on a 66 I am parting out. Since I am stripping the truck I went ahead and pulled the door off. None of the other blind nuts have given up and spun so easily. I will probably have just enough room through the access hole to use a air powered /worn down 3" cutoff tool, and without the hinge I can almost see what I am doing. Is this a real normal happening for these fenders? Any other ideas? If it wasn't a good fender I would just rip it off but I must be careful with these. AAARRGGHH!

Complete resto on 65 and had several of the rusted speed nuts spin. Can really test your patience. Had some success by getting fender in position, or wedge something on backside of speednut to get it to bind and allow bolt to unthread. Had simular problem with same bolt and eventually resolved by removing remaining bolts, getting as much separation as possible without damaging metal and wedging screw driver on backside of fastener. Be patient, fender will probably be worth couple or more tanks of oxy/acetylene. Good luck!

If you have a welder see if you can get in there and tack the speed nut down. If not like Dave said remove the remaining bolts and seperate it as much as possible and see if you can get a saw in there and cut the bolt.
