5.4L muffler
What muffler should I use to make my 2001 5.4L sound loud and have the crackle in the exhaust tone? I want the muffler that will improve the amount of back pressure so I don't lose power out of not having enough back pressure?

that is pretty tough to answer....everyone has different tastes when it comes to exhaust note/tone.
the best thing to do is get a pretty descent set of head phones and listen to the vast array of exhaust videos on YouTube. i suggest the head phones because most PC's speakers are not very good which can distort.

Some like just deleting the muffler , aka straight pipe. Some like glass-pac's
Some of the more popular mufflers are dynamax , Magnaflow, Borla, flowmaster....etc
Kinda depends on how deep your pocket are$$$$??
