Question 4R70W AODE TCC Shudder Fix / Shift Improver

I had an Autotrans module called 4R70W / AODE TCC Shudder Fix / Shift Improver on my old 95 F150. It was installed for 15 years and worked great. I would really like to install the same thing on my new 94 F150, but have not had any luck finding one. Does anyone else have it, and know where you can get it? I bought it back in 1999. It is a circuit board that is mounted to a valve body bolt and taps into the solenoid pack. The part number is AutoTrans 76918-SF.

I did a search for that part number and found Cobra transmission, when I looked for the part it said to call for availability. Not sure if you tried that but if you didn't try that. Also found Dacco transmission can try that.

When I searched, I could not find anything whatsoever. I may check with the places you listed.

Any time I need to search for something I'll use the brand and part number. So far that has gotten me what I needed.

One bottle of Ford Limited Slip Friction Modifier will fix the shudder.

Does your 'new' truck have a two piece rear driveshaft? The center carrier bearing may be shot, letting the the shaft droop, giving you a shudder at take off.

I don't currently have any shudder. This module firmed up shifts and the old truck shifted better when I sold it 15 years later than it did the day I bought it. I also had well over 250,000 miles on the original transmission. I feel that it helped save the trans.

It does have the wonky two piece drive shaft. I've never messed with that style setup before. The other trucks we had all had a conventional drive shaft setup.
