I place my vote for factory look , posibel mods like Chip Foose would make ...
Factory, but with tasteful, functional upgrades. Power steering, power disc brakes, overdrive transmission, EFI, stuff like that. But it all depends on the budget. Stock components are cheap. Stock trucks sell cheap. Aftermarket/custom is more expensive, but the truck would bring more come sale time.

Yep. That's what I was thinking when I said the Dent guys might help us out.
Someone needs to create a public list that will have many parts that are needed. As someone says they can donate the part, and it is confirmed they are donating the part, there name should be added to the list. That way someone isn't being sent duplicates of multiple types of parts. We would also need someone, (preferably well known in the bump community), who is more than likely retired or has a lot of time on there hands to be able to run the build. I think the whole Kickstarter idea is great as we would need some donations money wise in order to be able to afford someone to work on the truck full time. As for everyones shipping costs, I am not sure. I would imagine on some of the very heavy parts, if we had excess amounts of donation it could cover shipping costs, but I personally would have no problem paying shipping due to the fact that this is going to a good cause.
Like I said, I have a 302 blocks, ton of 302 parts, an FE radiator, a 600 cfm edelbrock carb, and many other parts that just lay around here that I would be more than willing to donate.
We just need someone, (preferably in the bump community), that is trustworthy / well known, and has a lot of time on there hands to run this build.
Start filling the list with names so everyone knows what is needed.

Would you like to be the parts guy? If you (or someone) can maintain the list of parts then we could begin to make this a reality.
I would think the next move would be to decide on a style so we can work towards a specific goal. Maybe we could start a survey thread and take a vote on what the thing should look like.
you all have a great idea here. With everything going towards a good cause you could possibly find a decent size company willing to do the build pro-bono. They can write off the labor on taxes and then it could be built fairly quick. (maybe even recorded and documented?). I'm sure everyone on here has seen fantom works on velocity- they are based in Va which has more military institutions than any other state plus they are based in norfolk near a navy base. (assuming the proceeds for wounded warriors).
I'm just thinking outloud but I am sure FTE could end up making something like this a huge fundraiser that may become an annual event.
you could have members on here draw/digitally create their version and have like 5-10 versions that everyone could vote on.

Wooow. Here's the frame and a cab with clear title. THAT'S the beginning needed. Plus rear end, engine, and trans. You know someone close to you who can do the build?
HEY GUYS.........LETS DO THIS!
idk anyone besides myself but right now I am chest deep in this new crew cab build but I will see if I can find someone maybe 71nky would know someone
This would be a good project to see . Getting in the planning stage is the first step . We need to have a proper get to gether and plan this thing out .

I agree. Trouble is we're spread out all over America and beyond. We need 1-a fearless project leader who's been on this forum for a long time.
2-person or people to do the build who also been here a while.
*****************ANY VOLUNTEERS?*****************
I will help wherever I can but I don't have time here at work to be the leader. I wouldn't mind being a Board member but can't be the chairman. I don't own my own PC at home. I am forced to be patient with this computer (still) on my desk at work. And I don't have the welding skills nor a spot I can do the build.

Speaking of welding, I have been planning on parting out my 1994 Cougar. Still together 'cause when I go to take it apart it's gonna have to be a quick job. My HOA will bitch otherwise. I'll donate it's IRS to this project if we decide on a lowered truck. 3.08 ratio open.
Well, if we get someone in Southern California to run this,
I can donate parts and labor. Ive got a spray gun and a
very large (but portable) air compressor. If someone donates
paint, I have all the necessary stuff and knowledge to spray. I just do not have the space to run a build
like that, otherwise I would have loved too.
By the sounds of it, we won't have a problem at all with parts,
its just finding someone willing to run the gig.
Like I said, I have plenty of time on my hands. Only
have school on specific days, so I have plenty of time
to donate labor wise. I just do not have the space for
it to be done here.
Anyone in Southern California looking to run this?
