93 f250 ECU problems?
My 250 has been acting up. Smells like it's burning a lot of fuel. It bucks when I put it into drive. My transmission has no idea what it's doing.
I took it to a shop to have my trans looked at. They couldn't get any data from my drivetrain mod.
I was told its either bad wiring or my ECU is bad
Has anyone else had these problems??
Any information will be much appreciated before I replace it lol.

Try to do a self test on the PCM, you should at least get the 11 or 111 codes on the check engine light, see here for more info.. Fuel Injection Technical Library » How To Run a Self-Test

I will defiantly try that tomorrow thank you! I pulled out the computer today and checked the board and it looked very clean and no corrosion. Not sure if it was remanufactured or what. I cleaned up the connections just to be safe and put it back in
