Someone mind taking a look?

Need some help with an assessment of this EB.

1973 Bronco

heading to take a look tomorrow and am unsure of the condition of the rust inside the engine compartment. Have more pictures than what is in the post, PM me and I can send them to you.

Really appreciate someone taking the time to help me out, looking for a truck that I can drive while I learn to work on them but don't want to inherit someone else's problem.

For that price you should not have to fix anything.....the front of the door jams look rusty and the add says "rust in normal places"....so ck rockers, floor pans, front and rear door jams.

But again for that price it have better be next to NO rust. Maybe some light surface at the most.

Talked him down to under $10k, for that very reason so I picked it up. Mechanically it's in solid shape, had a mechanic take a look at it just to be sure. Definitely has some rust issues but there has been some work already done to help it, I'll just keep working at it. Have any recommendations for how to fix the door jam? That's at the top of my list. Thanks a lot for looking, I'm going to need a lot of advice for this rebuild.

Wow congrats and nice score, I would have a hard time taking a grinder to that thing to start replacing door jam panels.

That part of the truck is VERY important since so much attaches to it. What ever you do, do it right the 1st time.

Time to look up on the ton of other EB sites out there, unfortunately this place is not that EB active, but we try.

Here is what is behind that fender. And a glove box door hinge mod if you get a roll cage for it. They do not handle being on their lid very well, and a storage idea.
