morning guys. yesterday my number was called, I was #4 in a 4 car accident. Luckily no one was hurt but I crunched up a CRV pretty good. My front bumper is toast. I limped it to my office down the road and parked it.
how man nuts/bolts to remove the bumper?
and once I get in there how hard would it be to pull out the frame crinkle parts?
Im just trying to do this low budget. I already out 150 bucks for a reckless driving ticket
P.S these truck don't stop to fast but hold up real good in a 30mph crash
Bumper is just held on with 4 nuts. The crunchy part of the frame... well if it was my truck I'd just take the sawzall to the frame horns. Cut them off a few inches behind the damaged area and then I'd go to the yard and cut the frame horns off another truck and pick up a straight bumper too. Take the new parts home, weld the new frame horns on, bolt up the new bumper, and call it good!
This is assuming that only the front of the frame is damaged. A few minutes with a tape measure can figure that out.
