Silly question, but do your heater controls work? Is your truck diesel?
Yes, the heater and all of the controls still work. I'll try to lock the hubs manually and see if that makes a difference. I don't have a vacuum gauge but I sure plan to buy one (any suggestions on a particular one?). I bought the truck used and it already had aftermarket wheels with caps that cover the hubs so I'll have to find the right size Allen wrench to get those off before I can try to lock my hubs. I'll be happy if that fixes my problem but I'll still be disappointed that my big fancy truck can be hampered by a little cold weather.
