Thanks for the welcome. Nope white as can be. Grew up in San Diego. I couldn't find the answers to my question on here so I will as you. I have a 1980 f 150 with the 300 6 and a 94 f 150 with the 4.9. Same engine I know but... what I want to do is switch the cab over along with the fuel injected 4.9. So my question is will this bolt up to my other transfer case? The 80 has the 4 speed with granny gear, the 94 has the 4 speed with overdrive. I'd like to keep the 4 old transfer case if I can because that thing will walk up hills by itself. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Ha ha! I grew up in Spring Valley and Brookside! Just down the road from Lemon Grove - YOU'RE A HOMEY!!!!
Up in Lakeside is a truck scrap yard that I fergit the name of, when the Otay Mesa yards got into crushing I found some bitchen parts out there.
What I think is get into the yellow pages and find them - they play with parts swaps too! I nabbed an F350 dually rear from them to stuff into an F250 ten years ago, and they ran through their inventory until they found one that fit
They can make stuff happen if they are still around
Prolly what you wanna do is see if the OD fits the TX case - I bet it does.
What you have then is long legs and 4X4
Pull them out, put them side by side, and check it...
NOTE: The bellhousing bolt circle is likely the same
What you are going to get in trouble with is driveshaft lengths - I hope you have something else to drive while you measure it and get the right ones.
~It ain't no shame to drive a Metro while you put it together
But keep your eyes peeled for a 302 EFI and matching tranny
Alternatively - the new GT40 has a V6 with twin turbos that put out 600 HP
~ Just sayin'
Well I'm not a Cali boy anymore. I live in Nebraska now. I do have another ride. I wouldn't be caught dead in a Metro though haha. 2004 Expedition on 20's is the daily driver. The truck and or trucks are just toys. I'd really like to make a prerunner truck. There are all sorts of hills out here that could make me fly. I'd have to do some major suspension mods though. One thing I'm not very experienced in.
