Please Help
I am new to this forum and just got my first vehicle a 1970 f250 it is missing this part not sure what its called or where I can find one. Please help!



Not sure what transmission I have

Ah that's the tranny belling housing inspection plate
Some guys leave them off to help the tranny run cooler.

Is that a good Idea, Looks like rocks, dust and mud could get in there and cause problems?

If you go off roading then you should have it. If your on the street all the time, it don't much matter.
