Need help - electrical connection

2000 7.3 - squirrels attacked, got in my engine bay and chewed up some wires. I need to know what is the small electrical connection below the fuel bowl heater plug. It is the connector that has a small wire clasp that locks it in place. Name or a part number would be helpful. I am hoping this is the problem why my truck will not start. Where would I find a replacement pigtail?

More than likely the IPR valve very important to make the truck run. Riffraff sells them.

Posting pics for Larry

So it looks like it is definitely the IPR. And it doesn't look like the critter left him enough wire to repair. I have already sent him a link to Riff Raff for replacement plug. Here's Diesel O-rings link. Ford dealer may have one too if your in a real hurry

Looks like the replacement plugs don't come with the wire clasp but just use the plastic clips on either side. That's why I was confused.

Thanks for your help. He got the fuel bowl heater/WIF sensor the same way. Chewed through the small wire on the solenoid, too - which as my first clue I had trouble. Got that pieced back together so the truck would turn over, but it would never start. Went through all the fuses and then climbed back up in the engine bay and found this. I hope this is it. We got 12 inches of snow last night and I really miss my truck - it is 4x4.

I couldn't see the back of the plug. Maybe just enough left to solder them together as a temp fix?

Fully scented drier fabric sheets...one on each tire and one in the engine bay will deter those little fuggers next time you have to park it and let it sit.

Not too long ago my fire company was dispatched to a car leaking gas in the driveway. Squirrels had chewed right through the fuel line.

Darned if I know why those pesky little rodents find wire insulation and fuel hose so tasty.

It's simple. This their way of saying "Where are the nuts, dammit? Maybe this will get their attention."

In an emergency, the EBPV solenoid harness plug can be cut and used to repair the IPR wiring. This will disable the EBPV, but will get you mobile again. The IPR, EBPV, and Injectors share the same type of connector.

Thanks everbody. Got it fixed today. Wired in a new IPR pigtail and Fuel Bowl Heater/WIF sensor plug. She fired right up, no other problems so far.
