93 E150 worn side door check strap
The check strap in the forward side door creaks and binds. Lubing doesn't last very long. Is there a service write-up on the forum (I didn't find anything)? Can it be rebuilt? Is it a dealer only item?

Those things wear out and aren't really all that expensive through the dealer. You could haunt a scrap yard and pull a few but given their general longevity buying new OEM isn't a bad investment.
