Sliding door help

Just bought a 91 e-250 van. The Hardware on the sliding door is broken. Looks like it needs to be replaced. Are there any sources for these parts? The wheel has broken of the part that sets in the track on the rear quarter.

That might be a 'You Pull & Save' or dealer part only, big salvage yards are unlikely to take a part off a sliding door economically. Know anybody in a body shop to ask?

The ford dealer still have the rollers, they are $25.00 but if you need them better hurry before they are discontinued, according to the parts guy.

might be able to find one at a wrecker; just buy the whole door. some of them are dented or scarred so badly, you might find one cheap.

I'm in the same boat.... looking for the nylon part that guides the wheel on my 78 e250. Dealership said it's discontinued but there is one in a dealership in ME somewhere. I'm going to call them tonight and see what the part and shipping to WA comes to. I'd goto a junkyard and look but I'm guessing any I find are bound to be in pretty bad shape (it is just plastic afterall!). I hate it when little pieces that wearout are discontinued and stop my vehicles from working right.

If I can't locate one I guess I will see if I can fabricate something. Maybe I'll make the new one out of aluminium for added stength.
