Yes.. but it'll be a lot more powerful than the stock 5.8 so overall not the worst thing.. it'll get around just fine.

I never said the converter was engine based. I was pointing out the converter from the 5.8/E4OD could be used.

Sorry guy's, this past week we've had a birth a wedding and i have become a god father. So from what I have read I think we are all in agreement,that my truck is going to be bad with it's newly rebuilt 5.8.When i get the engine out and apart i'm sure to have plenty of questions and it looks as though ive found a treasure trove of people who actually know what they're talking about. I cant thank you all enough.
