Exclamation Motor level HELP

I recently swapped out the 460 out of my 68 F-100 and put a 302 in and it is sitting at about 3 or 4 inches to low in towards the back of the motor. Suggestions on what the problem could possibly and a solution would be greatly appreciated.

The stands are from a 67 F-100 that previously had a 302

Sounds like someone used the wrong stands in that 67 and now you have them.

Isn't the engine supposed to be tilted rearward? 3-4" sounds drastic but I don't think it's supposed to be flat.

Good chance you're correct since 302s didn't come in a '67 pickup. --302 wasn't factory installed in the trucks until mid-year 1969.

6 cyl and 352 were the only engines available in a 67 but both use the same engine stands. You need 302 stands from a later truck.
4 to 5 degrees, tail down is what you want.
