air pump
I has a 91 ford f150 xlt lariat with the 4.9 inline 6. I just put in a egr tube and valve. It was capped off and i put in the new to stop air from shooting out of the air pump. However this did not work... is there a way to stop that from happening?

The egr and air pump are not related so no wonder it didn't fix it. The air pump pumps all the time so the air either gets diverted to the cat, exhaust manifolds or atmosphere. There is usually a canister that acts like a muffler so you don't here the puff puff puff of the pump. Sounds like you have some more parts missing.
