cone filter

Hey Whats up People ? Question, Whats more important in a cold air intake, The filter or the tube ? I have a cone filter mounted on my factory flexible tube . We r talking about 12 inches of smooth pipe verses ribbed is it worth the money ? Thanks in advance for your opinion Butch

IMHO it depends on the truck. Factory stock with it's 6# of boost then the filter. With pulleys on it like mine that creates 12# of boost, then both together.
Edit. Sorry 'bout the sig guys. Forgot to remove it since I'm not in the Bumpside board at the moment.
