I have an '89 F150 that I'm installing a trailer brake control unit on. There are 2 different schematics for the thing: one for no ABS and one with ABS. Pardon my ignorance, but how can I tell whether or not I have ABS?
Thx in advance.

Reason: Left out a word in a sentence.
The reason that I asked the question is because on the schematic it said on 89~91 models, if ABS is present to connect the brake controler to the light green wire in the turn signal harness under the dash, instead of just connecting to the cold side of the brake switch. Can I assume that I can connect to the cold side of the brake switch? That would be much simpler.
that is what i would do.
i never saw any ABS connection on any of the brake controllers i did. but i also may have just not been looking for it and hooked it up to the brake switch like have been doing forever.
