question about abs

I just bought an 87 f 150 with 4wd
it is a long bed reg cab and I believe the motor is the 5.8 (it is carbeurated)
everything works fine on the truck with the exception of the abs light on the dash
it stays on constantly
the truck has other little issue (like needing a tune up badly) that I know how to fix
but I don't know where to begin on diagnosing or fixing the abs issue
thanks for any ideas ya'll might have

Out of the 4 87-96 F-series, not a single one had workin ABS on them.

that is because not one had abs.

they have rabs=rear antilock brake system

your right, it is rear antilock brake
any ideas as to what may be wrong and why the dummy light is on, based on personal experiance or knowledge?

the sensor could be bad or dirty.

Are these true abs or are they like some of the older HD Chevys that had some kind of leverage brake pull off in the rear? (which didn't work worth a S**t)
