I have joined the super duty club

I just purchased a 2005 F250 4x4 6.0L with 80k miles. The people that traded it in was an older couple that only used it to pull there camper. It's completly stock and all the maintence records was on the carfax report from the dealership that I bought it from. I saw transmission flushes and radiator flushes along with some minor repairs.

I will take some more pictures in the morning

If you plan on driving it and working it hard, or adding power, the first thing I would do is "bulletproof it".

The first thing I'd do is get a ScangaugeII or one of the other moniters and program in the important parimiters and check the health of the oil cooler, FICM voltages HPOP pressures and any others that people mention and drive it around some. It may just surprise you....there are a lot of these 6.0's on the road that don't have nor ever had any problems, you just don't read about them here and on the other forums. If the old folks only used it to pull the camper and it's been doing that for 80,000 miles with no shop time Id say you have bought one of them. jmho

Maybe I'm a bit technically challenged, but unless I misunderstood you have to program strings of numbers into the ScanGauge II to get it to show certain parameters. It wasn't something I wanted to get involved with so I bought an Aeroforce Interceptor. Plug & play. It's the second one I've owned and like it.
That being said, I've got a ScanGauge that was plugged in once. Still in the original packaging that I'll let go cheap.

Thank you everyone. I have been saying for years I was going to buy an F250 with a Diesel engine. I have done it. Still learning about the truck. When they handed me the keys there was this remote on there that I had no idea what it went too. I learned yesterday that it is an ignition kill.
