I made the exact same mistake back in November. I got some 2015 F-250 wheels and tires for cheap and thought they would work just fine. Nope, so I got the 2" spacers from WheelAdapter.com and all is now good in my neighborhood. Here is a post chronicling my adventure. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...ty-rims-6.html
Don't try and be cheap and cut corners on these spacers. You won't like the price of them but having a wheel come off on the highway would ruin your day.
I "went cheap" on the spacers and had no issues and am glad I did. The quality of what I received was just as good IMO as Freds although in Aluminum but at half the cost they were great for almost 2 years. I however have a 2wd 5.4, so the diesel might be a concern because of the weight but personally I loved mine.
Yeah I'm getting rubbing on the frame in the front. only when i crank the wheel all the way. This is pretty much the neighborhood, school drop up vehicle. I work from home and avoid highways mostly so I'm not too concerned right now. just avoid uturns and order them asap. I will get the hub centric spacers for sure. as for the back. I thought the hub stuck out quite a bit but under daylight I realized that it does taper a bit so that idea is gone.
As for my profile. I purposely kept it blank, but i see your point. I'll update it.
