94 f150 xlt 5.0 4r70w. No cruise control or light on dash. 4x4 light on all the time. Rear wheels blocked off at master. Fuse in cab ok. Haven't checked 13 under hood yet. Any other ideas? Thanks
Fuse E in the engine compartment fuse box supplies power at all times. Fuse 13 in the passenger compartment is part of the Brake On/Off circuit via the Brake Pressure Switch, which is also always hot. The BPS was the cause of many vehicle fires and it triggered a massive recall.
The Speed Control diagram w/o the recall harness and added fuse is this:
Take a look at your truck to see if the recall harness was installed: courtesy of subford
If it is not there then disconnect the BPS, it's a HUGE fire hazard.
I'll see if I can dig up the revised wiring diagram. The recall adds a smaller fuse inline from Fuse 13 (15A) to the Brake Pressure Switch.
No recall wiring harness in sight. Someone did the right thing....unplugged the connector to the FIRE hazard Brake Pressure Switch. The unplugged connector in your pic is the original factory version. Leave it unplugged, call the dealer then give them your VIN to see if they can install the recall harness.
Whatever you do, do NOT plug that unfused connector onto the BPS.
Ok. Wasn't sure if there was a time frame I had. Rear brake line is blocked off at master. Will they still do it by chance or should I get that fixed first? Horn doesn't work either and both fuses are good.

You have mutiple issues going on. No horn and cruise is usually caused by a bad clockspring behind the steering wheel. Add in an open Brake Pressure Switch circuit. Still worth a shot to get the recall harness for the BPS circuit IMHO.
