Better get it qwik, because the 2014's are in short supply now that the 2015's are out. The 6.2L is not available in 2015 F150's, neither is the Raptor.

Gas is cheap now, but the oil producers are cutting their refinery production, so the price will soon rise. It's already rising here in CA as the Union Oil Co. is on strike.

Don't expect to get any better than 17 MPG highway with the 6.2L.

My former 2011 F150 Lariat 2WD 5.0L Stupor Crew overall MPG was 15.3. But I live at the top of a very steep hill, so it takes more gas to climb up it, then it does to coast down it.

If i can get nearly 17mpg highway locked in 4x4 high, loaded on a road trip i'm sure a 2wd can eek out a little better.

2014 fx4. 2400 miles. Average close to 18 at 70-75mph so far. Couldn't be happier. If you can afford the fuel and can still find one on a lot, I say go for it.

The 6.2L Engine is a great choice for people who want a big V8. I can't say anything bad about it.
