rear heater lines

Hey guys, while i was working on my new stereo system i drilled onto one of the metal lines that runs to the rear heater vore. Didnt really enjoy that shower. I cant find them for sale anywhere, is it a dealer item? I also read that one guy cut the metal lines out and installed heavy duty rubber hose, is that an option? Thanks

It was a dealer item but they are now obsolete through Ford. You will have to look into repairing them or finding some at a salvage yard.

cut the line where you drilled it, slip over some rubber hose and double clamp on each end. With just sealing up a splice it should be just fine. Provided its not at a bend.
