Mark, Would you think a complete rear axle assembly from a 2011 Ranger (with disc brakes!!) would still be a plug and play?? is the VSS on the rear end like our SDs?
Also, Any idea what I'd need to do to the brake system to swap in a disc brake rear and have them work properly? Thanks!

The brake vacuum boosters and master cylinders are different between the two years. Brake master cylinders for discs have larger volume pistons to accommodate the larger volume of the calipers vs wheel cylinders. There may be some plumbing issues associated with this at the master cylinder. This would also affect brake proportioning and ABS modulation.
