Antifreeze
Hello to all! What would be a good (brand) antifreeze to use in my 2012 6.
7 Diesel ? My owners hand book states 50/50 orange. Can I buy this at autozone, Walley world etc? Thanks in advance, Jim

You can buy the ford stuff at a dealer for about $24 a gallon, then mix it 50/50 with distilled water or you can just buy dexcool at wally world for about $13 and mix it with the distilled water.
Brand makes no difference, all dexcool is the same.

Costs LOTS more that way.
Gallon of straight dexcool- $13 + gallon of distilled water- $1 = $14 for two total gallons.
Gallon of premix dexcool is almost $15, so, twice as expensive per gallon.
