After adding the halos and the upgraded bulbs to the FX-R stage III kit, the parts came to about $500
Shipping my headlights for retrofit was not an option, so BFC bought some OEM replica housings and built the projectors into them. Those were about ~$400.
Then Labor, Shipping & handling, etc, was ~$650. So about $1500 give or take a little.
Something's wrong with the link. It's like it was truncated or something. I'd love to check it out but I have no idea which thread in which section you may be talking about.
You're right, it was corrupted. I fixed it and added it again here. My job is post 253
I've heard with HID ballasts and LEDs if you power through the factory harness or PCM (where the up fitter switches come through right?) you can get flickering. Have you had that problem?
My HID ballast plugs right into the factory harness. The LED's are wired separately to the upfitter. I've had no problem to this point with flicker. Been running these for about a year now.
Nice! Thanks for info. It makes me feel better about it. Any might shots against a wall or garage door showing the cutoff and down the street? I realize pics never really do it justice.

I only have a couple shots of the very first day with them. They're not very good. It was my very first attempt at dialing them in. They're much better now. I think I may have a few shots on my home PC but this is all I have at this time.
I just sent my lights to BFC to be done. I know JB, the owner of the company. He's a real stand up guy and they do real nice work. If there is an issue with anything, they take care of it.
I did a retrofit on my 06' before they had all of the nice retrofit options. I purchased Acura TL projectors on ebay and made them fit. For a shroud I used an burner tray haha. It came out great I think.
On my 2009 F250 I had BFC do the retro for me and it came out great. I think one of the most difficult parts of the entire project is getting these lights apart. I mean, just brutal.
The build I am doing doing on my 13' I purchased Nissan Murano projectors with upgraded clear lenses from the retrofit source thinking I was going to do this retrofit myself. I also purchased OEM headlights off ebay. I haven't had much time so I asked if BFC could tackle it. So I am shipping them out to BFC as we speak.
So my cost broken down:
Murano BiXenon Projectors ($175)
Upgraded Clear Lens (tuned by the retrofit source) ($50.00)
Morimoto 50w ballasts ($150)
Morimoto D2S 4500K bulbs (included)
Apollo 3.0 Shrouds (included)
H13 Wiring Harness (included)
Ebay OEM Salvage Headlights ($200)
Black Flame Customs Install
Smoked Lens, All Chrome OEM Look ($775)
Repeat Customer Discount (-$100)
Very nice! It looks like the output is greatly improved. Are those night shots with your light bar on or just headlights? I am very interested to hear about the difference in nighttime visibility and if other drivers flash you more or less now. I have factories and I get flashed all the time with my lows, but I'm lifted and haven't adjusted them yet.

Those night shots are the headlights only. The nighttime visibility is significantly improved over stock. I am extremely happy with the results. How high are you lifted? I am at the stock height, and wouldn't get flashed at all. I have yet to get flashed with the HID projectors yet. I aimed them a little bit low, so I have room when I am towing as to not bother other drivers. The great thing about the projectors is the clean cut off line. There is no glare from a reflector. As long as you properly aim them, I think they would be fine.

I am lifted 4.5" on 37s, but I would get flashed around here completely stock. Thanks for the information. These will prolly be my next upgrade.
You're substantially lifted and with taller tires. You should be adjusting your headlights to account for that regardless, not just suspension components.
