So is anyone familiar with what tie rod it might be?
Its a long ugly road I have to go back in too look, plus no turnaround Ill have to back out about 3kms
Doing a bit of looking, you will need to buy the broken part in order to get the truck out. It is attached to the steering knuckle on the passenger side with a ball joint and the steering drag link, which can be seen with the other adjusting sleeve in the upper left portion of the picture, is attached to the tie rod with a ball joint type connection as well. A good pickle fork and hammer should separate both of those connections for you without too much difficulty. After you get it back to civilization, you would definitely want to replace the short side tie rod end as well and get an alignment.
Well go a better road plowed to it and made a spot to work on it.
Didn't come apart real easy but got it , only to find out I had gotten the wrong tie rod end.
Well tomorrows another day , another try......................
