Installing new Tie Rods

I have a 2005 F350 4X4 6.0L, and rebuilding the front end. The original Tie Rod had a bar that clamped on to the tie rod and locked into the clamp on the cross bar going between the wheels. The piece does not fit onto the the MOOG parts.

Did I order the wrong part?

MOOG Part # ES80755
MOOG Part # ES80754

Grind the tie rod end and use the original lock. I had the same thing. I just used a round file and put a slot in the tie rod end.

Thanks, I found some pictures where the Tie Rods came with a new bar. I am sure grinding a slot will take care of the issue as the clearance is only off by 1/8 of an inch.
