Why has Ford not stepped up with tire pressure displays on the dash? They are the only one left that still gives us just an idiot light on our $40,000 plus trucks.

You can have a individual tire pressure display, just buy a RAM or chebbie.

A friend just posted his new Kenwood deck on Facebook that was installed in a new F150 Limited. Looks like it's got tach, speedo, boost, fuel and individual tire pressures displayed along with the nav and stereo features.
I'd hate to know what he paid for it.

Great Question... when my buddy air's down at the beach, his wife watches the display on his 2009 Chevy and just tells him when he's reached 18lbs - I have to pay for expensive Staun/SmittyBilt deflators or check each tire with a gauge! AND, $40,000 Plus is being nice to Ford - the Super Duty's are MUCH higher than that!

I don't think it's a big deal, but having the pressure monitoring system is a great feature. Last year I was pulling my boat home from a fishing trip and my low tire pressure light came on so I new I had a problem. I pulled over at my earliest convenience and walked around my truck to find my front passenger tire was deflating fast. So yes this feature saved me from ruining a expensive tire and perhaps even more damage.

I suspect the tire pressure display is locked up like most RAM trucks EVIC's display's.

This is a big problem with RAM trucks right now.

Woah? Individual tire pressure displays?

I'm just waiting for good headlights. The F150 has had HIDs, projectors, and now is on to LED lights, and the Superduty's still have halogen lights that cant aim the worth beans.

I remember seeing this feature in a Chevy van in '09, and it really amazes me that Ford hasn't caught up yet. Hopefully that will change in the upcoming redesign.

Do any of the "Tuners" offer a tpms display option?

The dually trucks do NOT have TPMS installed nor is it required by Fed regs.

I use the Tire Minder system since I also have a 5'r that I tow. It will track up to like 22 tires.

Twice in the last 7 years the tpms has saved me from a blowout along way from home. I like it.

What? You've never in your life gotten a nail or screw in a tire?
