Need help to possibly purchase 1976 F100

Hey everyone, new here but not new to forums. I have checked the stickies on the main page and googled but nothing really specific shows up.

I'm looking at picking up a possible project truck and found one locally that seems like a fair price considering what it is. I don't really know what they are worth so I figured you all would be able to give me some input.

I am working today but providing they don't sell it in that time I am going to look at it tomorrow.

1976 FORD F-100 CUSTOM TRUCK Thoughts???? Thanks in advance

I think it is too high for that truck. The repaint scares me as to what they are hiding. The dash pad is gone, the seat is a newer unit and not even in good shape, "original rims"... Uh, no... Not unless they are also included. The rear bumper is missing, it's a non AC truck, the trim is missing, grill inserts are not correct for a 77'. Personally, if it runs and drives good, offer $1200 and go no higher. Look carefully for rust.

Can't tell for sure but the body looks a bit rough. If the body is tight & smooth, no rust and it's very sound mechanically, I'd say "close" but still a tad high. Looks like it's missing some essentials though; rear bumper, dash pad.

Looking through the CL from the link provided, I saw a lot of very good candidates for less money in the same area.

Thank you for the response everyone. I will go atleast look at it tomorrow. I just couldn't find any solid data on values, so who better to ask than people that have one.
