hey all new to the forum but not fords, i grew up with them. thats all my grandfather would own even ford tractors. had probably a dozen when i was 15 sitting all over the farm some needed motors some needed trans or axles, enough to built a complete 1976 shortbed f150. its long gone now but i have a son that had to own a ford even after we completely rebuilt a cj7 for him, he sold it and bought a truck only a ford owner could love. a 1989 extended cab half rotted bed with a 5.0 and automatic. we have done some work to it, little lift, all the ball joints tie rods and usual stuff that come with getting an old vehicle. im going to say this wasnt my first site, i checked alot of them out and was lurking on here for awhile before i joined. hope it was the right choice.
ive built dozens of vehicles over the years so mechanically im no noob, just need a refresher on the newer stuff and brush the cobwebs off the ford boxes. thanks again to those who help, except the 2 jacka55 that decided it would be fun to poke fun at the way a gulfwar vet with a disability that inhibits his typing.
