I'm getting ready to get back into the dent side Fords. My first truck was a '77 F-150, my seecond was a '79 F-150. I got bit by the new truck bug in 1995 and sold the '79 and bought a 1995 F-150 short box, traded that in 2001 for a used 2001 F-150 Supercab short box.

I worked as a Ford parts man for about 12 years at two local dealers, long enough ago to remember how to use the micro film catalog. I transfered out of parts to be the asst manager of the body shop for about a year, and fro the last three years have been working for an insurance co as a material damage appraiser.

My currant project is a '68 Camaro that I'm trying to sell due to lack of intrest. I'm selling my house and buying the house I grew up in and am now going to have a shop again. I have my eye on a '79 F-250 4x4 with a 351M and a T-18, the body is SHOT, but the drive line looks solid. The same owner has the body off a '79 F150 that from what I've see so far is about perfect. I'm getting both trucks for a pretty decent price. Next time I'm at his house, I'll take some photos for you guy's.

I've been reading a lot of older post and it seems like there is a vast wealth of knowlege around here. I hope I can absorb some of it and maybe add a little. Phil

Sounds like you have had a good mixture of toys over the years! Hate to hear about the 68, but I know all too well about loosing interest.

I think you'll find there is a lot of information on FTE. It would take someone a while to cover it all...
