Transmissions.....
So I've been advised by several mechanics that I know to just get another trans instead of replacing the top cover assembly, besides the M5OD what other transmissions will bolt up to the 4.9 I6 (1995 f150 cab n a half)

@bashby; no Im not interested in going automatic I actually just found out that a buddy if mine knows a guy who can actually work on my trans. And get it fixed.

don't put too much coin into that trans though.they're not worth their effort.if you can source a small block zf5 for about the same or not much more than it will cost to your repair your mazda trans,you may want to go that route.

True that! @fordf250 I'm gonna search the intewebs to try and find a zf5, might just stick with the mazda for now or something then wait for taxes to come back and buy a zf5 maybe even get an IDI
