White smoke!!!!

Hey all I just bought a 1990 f250 7.5 460 off an uncle for a steal. It has not been registered since 2013, when last smogged it didn't pass because operator saw "visible smoke". Right now I need it to pass smog so I can put it in my name then do all the other awesome stuff to it later. If anyone has any ideas on what to do it would help a lot.
Thanks

If it's white smoke, that normally means you have a blown head gasket. The white "smoke" is steam from the vehicle having coolant/water in the combustion chamber.
