white smoke
please help
my 84 460 started blowing white smoke
story is it hasnt been on the road since 2001 it's been started once or twice a year and let run but not really driven
took it to emmissions it passed no signs of white smoke the next day it started smoking white smoke
it only has 75000 miles on it
since getting it back on the road havent gone father than maybe 5 miles with it
could amount of oil in engine make it blow white smoke

White exhaust smoke can mean an internal coolant leak, such as a bad head gasket.
Don't drive it until you figure it out.
my 2 cents

Yes, sounds like a head gasket, but it could be a few other things.
When does the smoke happen? Is there any residue on the tailpipe? What does it look like?

Come to think about it .... my '84 F250 w/460 blew a head gasket just after the warranty period. I now remember trying to get Ford to do the repair.
No white smoke, but you could see the slight leaking between the head and the block.

Maybe try one of those sealer additives to help diagnose?
