Clutch replacement
I have a 2000 F350 4x4, 6 speed, 7.3L Diesel, SRW running a TS6 chip. Clutch is slipping and based on mileage I need to replace. What brand do you reccommend?
Not a daily driver, Mostly used during hunting season pulling 2 boats from Ga to Louisiana. Occasionally pull a small two axle equipment trailer.

If you're not doing anything crazy with power, the stock replacement works well with a TS chip. Lasts a long time, is smooth instead of grabby or jerky, and holds the modest power gains just fine. Even when pulling a heavy load.

I have to say I'm impressed with the stock clutch - it went 165k miles in my truck, and only gave up the ghost after upgrading injectors and tuning. I'm not sure how the pricing compares between stock clutch and South Bend, but I have been nothing short of impressed with the South Bend listed in my sig. It's rated for 425hp, yet isn't jumpy or grabby at all. If it goes the distance the stock clutch did, I'll be doubly impressed. I'd say it depends on what your long term goals are for the truck. If you're gonna keep the truck long term, with a possible injector upgrade at some point, I'd steer you towards the aftermarket clutch world. If you're content with stock power, and don't see going beyond the stock injectors with the TS chip, AND the stock clutch is no more expensive than something like my South Bend, then go stock.
