Changed my oil yesterday, made notes of issues with my 3 week old Bronco.
Some genius dented the transmission pan, looks like it distorted the gasket seal, have a leak. Ordered new pan, filter kit from JEGS. Full flush upon arrival.
Letting it sit until I can get it installed, will power wash afterwards so I can further monitor for leaks.
I have not noticed any issues with shifting, hopefully I caught it in time before any damage.
Yes, hopefully that's a good thing?
Least expensive stock option I could find.
Hated to spend $$$ on a B&M high cap, not really needing it for my street driver, and get stuck with it if, God forbid, something else is uncovered while repairing.
Good to know, thanks for the reply. Hopefully nothing is damaged, I hear the C6 is pretty tough. I do not understand why people do not take the time to do proper maintenance or check for damage after coming into contact obstacles.
Make sure you tighten down to correct ft lbs on the bolts so you don't break the gasket. I like to use aviation form a gasket on my gaskets to keep them in place and makes it easier to come apart in the future. RTV can't do that too hood..usually breaks the gasket.
