Does anyone know the part number for the harness so that I get the right one?
I have only used the six pin one. Never a need for the two prong yet, but the tech folder has a post with a wire connector list with photos you could dig through to find the two prong. I know the six pin one only uses five wires the other is a dummy. I am guess the two prong is the trailer brakes and a ground.
A side note: When my dad put the extra RV 7 way in his truck, the one he got from Ford connected with a Y at the back side of the hitch mounted RV 7 way, not to these connectors. I would buy that one and cut off that other Y and splice into these, for a much cleaner install.
Awesome, thanks!!! That actually might be exactly what I was looking for, because I am considering adding a headache rack with lights so I wouldn't need the 2-prong plug then. In that case I could go the aftermarket Rv connection in the bed and get a harness that plugs in the back of the 7-way down by the bumper.
I bought the 5er harness, mounted it under the left rear tail light, plugged into it a 7 way and from there I wired bed lights, reverse lights and running board running lights. 1 stop shop for all my aftermarket lighting needs.
