lift kits

i have an early 99 PSD and have been looking for a 4 in lift kit. My mfg date is 12/98, on the rear could i just add 4in spring blocks and shocks. The front is my real issue!! Any suggestions????

I removed a 6" lift kit off of my e99 and still have the parts. Springs have one broken leaf and should be rebushed. I'm in PA if you think you might be interested in the stuff.

Don't use blocks on the rear, you'll regret it! Spend a little more, and go all spring, don't even mess with leveling kits.

Spend the money on a good quality lift not just the cheapest you can find. I went BDS (can't beat the warranty) with my SD and top gun customz this go round and absolutely love it compared to BDS

I had a 4" block + the factory 3.5" for a total of 7.5" (can you say axle wrap?). I went with full leafs to get rid of the block, but I can still bind the u-joints on a hard acceleration. More arch in the leaf pack= harsher ride (even with the soft ride springs I bought). Hindsight, I should've kept the blocks and added traction bars.
